WHO I AM
As an experienced aviation consultant, I have a deep passion for supporting companies on their path to improving operational peformance. My extensive experience as a head of operations at a leading global airline enables me to lead your project to success and effectively support your business goals.
In 40 years I have experienced pretty much everything from fleet groundings to strikes to new airport opernings to snow closures to volcanic eruptions. I draw on this knowledge and my extensive network of colleagues to transfer insights and advice to C level airline executives all over the globe

OPERATIONS
Operations Planning and Control is my speciality. I ensure that my clients plan for success and can deliver robust, safe and cost effective aircraft, crew and maintenance plans whether they are low cost carriers, network airlines or charter / ACMI
PROCESS
Without effective processes it is impossible to achieve successful and repeatable outcomes. I have experienced good ones, poor ones and just about all in between so you can harvest all of this to ensure that you can benefit from my learnings
CRISIS MGMT
I have led contingency planning and crisis management teams through the worst of events. I was Gold Commander when Heathrow Terminal Five opened and when the airport closed after snow storms and volcanic eruptions. I train and lead exercises to test the readiness of my clients
SYSTEMS
I have evaluated and led the introduction of all types of aviation software from aircraft to maintenace and from crew to flight dispatch. I work with all major suppliers such as Jeppesen, Lufthansa Systems, IBS, CAE, AIMS and Navblue
PEOPLE
An airline can have the most efficient fleet and state of the art systems backed with fantastic processes but without skilled and motivated teams it will not maximise its potential. I am happy to advise recruiters and can draw on a huge and experienced network
